Our 19-year residential cleaning service system used by our team can provide you with the best quality home cleaning services possible, focusing on deep cleaning for your home or apartment, including deep cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, storage rooms and every other space imaginable. Whether you require a one time or weekly deep house cleaning services for your home, or maid services and apartment cleaners for apartment buildings across the Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, Orange Park, and/or all Northeast Florida  area, our certified maids are fully vetted, follow a strict code of home cleaning rules, and are highly trained to provide you with the best-quality maid service possible.

Time: Starts Counting Upon Arrival

Guarantee: Client Must Be Present During The Entire Cleaning Process for the guarantee

Scheduling: 2-Hour Time Window For Arrival

Supplies: We Provide All Supplies (Unless Client Wants Specific Supplies)

Equipment:  We Provide All Equipment (Unless Client Wants Specific Equipment)

Client Must: provide a comfortable working environment (A.C., Electric, Running Water, etc.)

Communication: All reminder communication (Emails, Texts, and Calls) is on a courtesy basis

Appointment: Client is 100% responsible for keeping the appointment (Not depend on our reminders)

Rounding up: All hourly Jobs will be rounded up to the next 30-minute mark

To avoid an unexpected bill: make sure you mention you only want to purchase a specific number of labor hours (however, the job may or may not be completed within the specified time (this is called a partial cleaning))

High demanding days: Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends are almost always totally booked

Waiting list: If your preferred day is not available for scheduled recurring services, you’ll be put on a waiting list in the meantime until your preferred day becomes available (on a first come first served basis)  

Gratuity: It is customary to tip 15% (18%, 20%) of the total bill. $100=$15  $150=$22.50  $200=$30 $250=$37.50 $300=$45   (Note: soon, tip will be included in the total  bill). (If you are satisfied with the results, please tip). 

Our Policies and Procedures: You are encouraged to read our policies and procedures section because you will be held responsible for those policies and procedures. Upon making an appointment, a copy of our policies and procedures will be included in your scheduling email. We require that you e-sign and date the email and respond (if you decide not to provide your email or fail to e-sign the email, you are still held responsible for our policies and procedures).

Our Guarantee: You must be present during the entire time at the property when we perform the cleaning service to be eligible for the Guarantee. If you cannot be present at the time we perform the cleaning service, you will forgo the Guarantee.

This means we will re-clean any area within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment that you were not completely satisfied with. I. First and foremost, we are an established company. Meaning we've lasted this long because of our quality of service. In Jacksonville & all Northeast Florida local web (especially websites such as Craigslist.com, Backpage.com, etc.) there are all kinds of scams, fake businesses, even companies that try to hijack competitor listings. There are also lots of businesses that try to set up fake listings in different cities just to try to deceive customers. (Lots more, those are just a few examples.)

So industry associations contribute in proving our legitimacy AND also that we have earned the accreditation by providing quality service and customer care for 17 years. We not only have the U.S. Association of Accredited Business accreditation, but also the customers video testimonials to prove it! How many other cleaning companies can make that claim, and the clients to prove it? 


The U.S. Association of Accredited Business does all the legwork for you, they perform a thorough investigation before any business application gets approved. The strict criteria for becoming U.S. Association of Accredited Business accredited may be the reason only six cleaning service companies are U.S. Association of Accredited Business accredited in Northeast Florida. Cleaning companies with a bad reputation (even large national franchises) for example won't bother with a U.S. Association of Accredited Business listing and would not even be approved.

II. Second, in our industry the turnover rate is enormous. Our research indicates that most people that sign up for recurring service, prefer to see the same faces each time. What differentiates us from our competitors is the fact that most of our staff is family. Our turnover rate is significantly lower than the industry’s average. III. Third, quality is our number one priority. We are a quality focused cleaning service. It’s easy to offer cheap prices and do a mediocre job. That’s not our philosophy. We rather turn jobs down than do mediocre jobs. Our cleaning consultants are trained to perform a solid quality cleaning service, strangely as this may sound, our cleaning consultants cannot perform a mediocre job, they don’t know how!

We use high quality equipment and supplies. We highly believe in supporting our community and local small businesses. When it is all possible (and does not compromise quality), we make every attempt to support local businesses by obtaining our equipment and supplies (Oreck Clean Home Center, Norman’s Vacuum, etc.) from locals.

IV. Fourth, our cloud-based communication technology is superior to most of our competitors. We cater to a demographic that truly appreciates the convenience of a well set communication system. Many of our clients want “total freedom” and “total flexibility,” we try to accomplish this task by using sophisticated software.  

How will our house cleaning service relationship work?

·         We know that it is important to earn your trust on each house cleaning service visit, which is why we do not ask you to sign a contract. We operate through open communication and honest evaluation of our service. We encourage feedback that will help us serve you better.

Are you Licensed?

·         Absolutely! 

Must I be at home during the house cleaning?

·         This is entirely up to you. Most clients prefer to give us a key; others leave it in a safe place. The only people who have access to your key are the managers. They will personally give the key to the maid that will be cleaning your home that day. If it’s all possible and to get the guarantee, we recommend to customers to be present at least for the first time. However, if you are not present, you forego the guarantee.

What if I need to reschedule a  house cleaning service?

You can do it all online through an email. The email has a link to cancel and reschedule.

·         You have different options. We prefer that you book online and we will be offering a discount (in the near future) to encourage potential clients to use our online booking system. If you are a regular client, you can text us to book your appointments. You can also email us to setup your appointments. Or, simply call our office at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled appointment. A late cancellation fee $50 (for cancellations without a 3-business day notice) will be incurred.

At what time will the maids be arriving at my home?

We always need a two-hour time window for arrival time.

·         Our normal work days are Monday-Sunday 7:00am – 7:00pm. While in most cases it is difficult to give a specific time, we will make every effort to accommodate your needs within the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. range. We always need a two hour window for arrival time.

How many maids will be  cleaning  my home?

Three factors will determine how many maids will be assigned:

1.      The square footage of the home  

2.      The condition of the home

3.      The time of the appointment (The later in the afternoon, the more maids)



1.  Square footage (Recommendations):                                                         

Up to 1500 square feet = 2-3 cleaning consultants            

1500 to 2200 square feet = 2-4 cleaning consultants

2200 to 3000 square feet = 3-4 cleaning consultants

3000 to 3500 square feet = 3-4 cleaning consultants

3500 to 4000 square feet = 4-6 cleaning consultants

4000 to 5000 square feet = 4-6 cleaning consultants

5000+ square feet = 5 or more cleaning consultants

2. Conditions

Home conditions determine how long cleaning consultants will take to clean the property. Our standards are significantly different than the average customer. We are the cleaning experts and we determine how long the job may take. However, the final price will be based on ACTUAL number of cleaning consultants and ACTUAL number of hours worked, not pre-determined estimations.

Alternatively, you can purchase a specific number of labor hours and have the cleaning focused in particular areas (this is call a ;partial cleaning, $49.99 per hour per cleaning consultant).


Client must provide a comfortable working environment (A.C., Electric, Running Water, etc.). No A.C., no electric, no running water, no service from the Jessie's team.

3. Time of the appointment

If your property is of significant size (2000 square feet or higher), we may assign more cleaning consultants if the appointment is scheduled for late afternoon (3 pm or later). This late in the day, We want as many cleaning consultants to finish job in a reasonably time frame.


·         Depending on the task at hand we will send a team of maids or an individual  maid. We will accommodate any special requests you may have as well. Normally, on average, we send two or three cleaning  consultants per job. However, the higher the number of maids the higher the price per hour:

1 Maid (Each hour is 1 labor hour): 37.50+7% (Supplies & Equipment)  Per Hour Per Cleaning Consultant (M-F 8-5)

2 Maids (Each hour is 2 labors hour): 75+7% (Supplies & Equipment)  Per Hour Per 2 Cleaning Consultants (M-F 8-5)

3 Maids (Each hour is 3 labors hour): 112.50+7% (Supplies & Equipment)  Per Hour Per 3 Cleaning Consultants (M-F 8-5)

4 Maids (Each hour is 4 labors hour): 150+7% (Supplies & Equipment)  Per Hour Per 4 Cleaning Consultants (M-F 8-5)

What if something is damaged during my  house cleaning ?

·         Our  maids  will treat your home as if it was their own. However, should damage or breakage occur during your house cleaning, we will take the steps necessary to have it replaced or repaired.

How do you protect my keys?

·         Your key will be secured in our office in a locked storage, which only our managers have access to. The key is issued to our certified maids on the day of  cleaning, and are returned the end of the day. At which point the manager will return your key to its secured storage.

How do I pay for your  house cleaning service?

New clients need to provide a credit card.

·         Payment is due at the time of service. Clients will either leave a check made payable to Jessie’s House Cleaning, cash, or pay by credit card. An extra fee will be charged for an insufficient funds check.

If using a credit card, and you want to pay yourself directly through PayPal on our website, make sure you contact us so that we can give you the grand total or use our shopping page (Total+tax). 

Gratuity: Can I tip the service personnel? And how much?

Yes, you can tip the cleaning consultants directly, include it on the cash or check payment, or credit card payment. It is customary to tip 15%, 18%, 20% of the total bill. Based on our research, we will soon start including the 15% gratuity fee on the bill.

What should I do about my security/alarm system?

·         Some clients will provide Jessie’s  House Cleaning  with the access code for their home; others will establish a guest or temporary code for us. However, in our experience it will be easiest to have your alarm system turned off for the day of your  house cleaning.

Will you offer any refunds if we are unhappy with the cleaning?

·         No. Absolutely not. However, we will re-clean any area within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment that you were not completely satisfied with. We have a 24-hour guarantee. As long as the requests are reasonable. You have to be present during the entire cleaning process in order for us to honor the guarantee.

Do I need to provide house cleaning service equipment or supplies?

·         No, Jessie’s House Cleaning will provide all the  cleaning  supplies and state-of-the-art equipment. However, if you would like us to use your  cleaning  supplies and/or equipment we will happily oblige.

We reserve the right to make any necessary adjustments in price concerning supplies and equipment. 

Are my valuables safe?

·         If you have any valuables or irreplaceable items, please store them in a secured area and instruct us not to touch them. A closed door, drawer or note will signify our  maids not to touch or clean the area.

What should I do with my pets during the house cleaning service?

·         We ask that you provide us with adequate information about your pets. Although not a requirement, we prefer your pets to be restricted in areas that need cleaning so that our maids can be more efficient.

Homes with pets may reflect slight higher prices in the cleaning service. We make the decision as to any price adjustments necessary when dealing with pets.

If you own a pet, you are responsible for taking care of the pet, we will not clean after the pet. We will not pick up or clean pet waste. However, we could refer you to a pet waste company.

Will your maids get on step ladders?

·         Normally, Jessie’s House Cleaning  employees will not get on ladders because of safety reasons. However, we have proper vacuum extensions and equipment that will reach high areas such as ceilings and ceiling fans. And, occasionally we may need to use a step ladder. 

What are your rates for your house cleaning services?

·         Rates are hourly $37.50 per hour per cleaning consultant. The duration and total bill will be based on the condition and size of your home (Go to the "Rates" tab). Please contact our local office for a free consultation and estimate!

Is it possible to hire a Jessie's House Cleaning cleaning consultant directly?  

         No. When you (verbally, written, text, email, or any other way, etc.) request and agree to hire Jessie's House Cleaning, you are entering into a service agreement with Jessie's House Cleaning. You are agreeing not to hire a past or present Jessie's House Cleaning cleaning consultant introduced to you by Jessie's House Cleaning for any home-related service. 

           If you decide you want to employ a Jessie's House Cleaning cleaning consultant directly, our referral fee is $2,500.

This is not to get confused with our referral service. When you call us directly and want to hire one (or more)  maid(s), we can make arrangements and provide you the service. However, you must pay Jessie's House Cleaning and not have a direct contract (written, verbal, or any other method) with the cleaning consultant. 


What if my home is significantly dirty? Would you still clean it?

We have seen it all and we would clean about 99% of the cases. Upon visual inspection, we will determine if we could clean your home. We reserve the right to reject any job without any explanation (we have exercised this right in more than one occasion).

Prompt service, very professional house cleaning service. Will determinately be using again. Carpet cleaning was provided by a sub-contractor who also did a good job. Super Cleaning Service & Outstanding Customer Service! I found Jessie’s House & Carpet on Google since I needed to replace my maid because she moved away to another state. I selected several BBB accredited companies and read their reviews. I liked Jessie’s because it is a local/small business and had positive reviews. After trying Jessie’s, I’m totally convinced that I don’t need to continue searching for a good cleaning service. They are very professional and organized, and even use sophisticated software to remind (text and email) me of my cleaning appointment and email me the invoice. I can setup the appointment, reschedule, and pay (Paypal) all from their website. The great thing about it is, I don’t even need to be home and they have put me on automatic billing for my weekly services. That was exactly what I was looking for, I told them I want to sign up and forget about it. I just want to come to a clean home every Thursday. I have used them for six month now. During the holidays, I was caught up by surprise and did not realize how close the holidays were. My family was coming to town and my entire home was a total mess, interior and exterior. It was Sunday morning but I had some hope someone would show up. I called several companies and even called people on Craigslist, to no avail. Where were all the great cleaning service companies when I had a last minute emergency? I was beginning to lose hope when finally, searching online, I found a company that would serve my last minute cleaning needs without hesitation. Jessie's House and Carpet Cleaning is the best service I've ever hired. Called them on a Sunday at 11 a.m. and they were at my doorstep in less than an hour! I was very impressed. They did a variety of services. House cleaning, carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning and sealing, exterior window cleaning, and pressure washing on a Sunday! And, since they did not get to finish cleaning all the areas that same day, they came back the next morning to complete the task. They provided quality of service and exceptional customer service even during non-business hours. It does not get better than that. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision when hiring a cleaning service.

They always did a "good job", but not "great job" The two ladies that came from Jessie's did a GREAT JOB and spent two full hours working constantly. I will call them again for sure~!
