In some occasions in particular for training purposes and workshops, we may need to take photographs and/or videos to use them as instructional education. You are giving JHC full authorization to conduct these activities at your property. These photos, videos, or any other existing or future technology not mentioned here, are the sole property of JHC.
In many occasions in particular when the customer is absent we would have to take photographs and/or videos to “prove” we did the cleaning service. You are giving JHC full authorization to conduct these activities. Also, many clients approve for us to record videos/photos testimonials to express their satisfaction. These photos, videos, or any other existing or future technology not mentioned here recorded anywhere, including but not limited to your property, are the sole property of JHC.
Jessie’s House Cleaning® Photographs and Videos Release Form (for pictures, videos, testimonials, etc.)
The undersigned enters into the following agreement (“Agreement”) with
Jessie’s House Cleaning®. I have been informed that Jessie’s House Cleaning® is capturing footage and that my property, name, likeness, image, voice, appearance and/or performance is being recorded and made part of the recording in which I (or my property) appear (“Product”).
1. I grant Jessie’s House Cleaning® and its designees the right to use the Product in any format, now known or later developed. I grant, without limitation, the right to edit, mix or duplicate and use or re-use Product in whole or in parts as Jessie’s House Cleaning® may elect. Jessie’s House Cleaning® or its designees have complete ownership of the Product, including copyright interests.
2. I grant Jessie’s House Cleaning® and its designees the right to broadcast, exhibit, market and otherwise distribute the Product, in whole or in parts, and alone or with other products, for any purpose Jessie’s House Cleaning® or its designees determine. This grant includes the right to use Product for promoting or publicizing.
3. I have the right to enter into Agreement and am not restricted by commitments to third parties.
4. Jessie’s House Cleaning® has no financial commitment or obligations to me as a result of Agreement. I agree (and/or my property) to be videotaped and/or photographed for this product by Jessie’s House Cleaning® without receiving compensation of any kind.
5. In consideration of all the above, I hereby acknowledge receipt of reasonable and fair consideration from Jessie’s House Cleaning®. I have read, understand and agree to all of the above and that the rights granted Jessie’s House Cleaning® herein are perpetual and worldwide.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
(Between customers and Jessie's) Phone conversations, emails, texts, social media comments, photos, videos, and any other type of communication not mentioned here may be recorded for quality control, feedback, and marketing purposes.
II. HOME PREPARATION
Preparation Of Your Home: To maximize the value you receive from our service it is helpful to straighten-up and pick-up or put away clothing, toys, dishes, etc., before your cleaning team arrives.
Pets: You are responsible for placing your pets in areas where there is no interference with our techs.
Family & kids: To maximize the value you receive from our service it is helpful to plan on scheduling the service when family & kids are not home before your cleaning team arrives. As continual traffic may interfere with the cleaning process.
Avoid scheduling the service while there is construction, remodeling, or traffic in home while we’re cleaning: As we may clean your place only to have someone else dirty the place right afterward. In such cases, EVEN IF THE PLACE IS NOT CLEAN BECAUSE OF WORK BEING PERFORMED AT YOUR PROPERTY, we still have to charge for our services regardless of the outcome. And, in such cases we will not re-clean an area that was already cleaned and was made dirty from some other reason (kids, construction, remodeling, pets, etc.). We will be glad to re-clean it for the applicable hourly fees.

HOME CLEANING
We offer hourly--paid cleans, and regularly scheduled maintenance cleans for a flat fee: Maintenance cleans will be placed in a regularly scheduled spot (weekly and biweekly) on a team whose route is in your vicinity on a day and time of your preference (when we are scheduled to be in your area). The more frequent the service each month, the less time it requires to clean per visit. We honor the flat fee of a maintenance clean provided that cleaning is done at the agreed upon frequency. If the frequency changes (due to illnesses, vacations, forgetfulness, accidents, natural catastrophes, weather, or any other reason not mentioned here), the price will also increase.
Anything outside of the home is not included in the home cleaning.
In order to get the best rates, you have to sign a one year contract. Contact us for more details.
CARPET CLEANING
Powerful carpet steam cleaning takes care of most carpet cleaning jobs. However, when tough stains and odors are present, many factors will determine the outcome.
Depending on the nature of the stains and odors will determine if the stains and odors will be removed. We cannot guarantee that your stains and odors will be removed.
Carpet cleaning is performed using powerful steam cleaning with tough chemicals to remove stains. However, we cannot guarantee that your stains will be permanently removed. Some stains are permanent (pet urine, hair dye, etc.). Carpet cleaning in this situation would superficially provide a temporary solution, but when the carpet is completely dried, the stains or bad odors will come back. Therefore, we cannot guarantee permanent removal of stains or odors.
Also, sometimes the liquid (pet urine, water, or anything else) penetrates the carpet and gets to the bottom padding area creating a very strong unpleasant odor. Carpet cleaning and deodorizing will not remove the tough odor in this situation, it may superficially provide a temporary solution. The padding would have to be removed and dried or replaced, which is another (more costly) service.
IV. SCHEDULING & FEES
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING: We require all customers to provide credit/debit card information at time of booking (in some cases a $50 a non-refundable deposit is required). If you do not provide credit/debit card information at time of booking, your appointment may be cancelled without notification at any time. It is in your best interest to provide the required credit/debit card information to avoid cancellation. The only exceptions to this policy would be prepayments (Pre-Payments such as: Gift Certificates, PayPal pre-payments, etc.).
CASH: If you’re paying with cash, we require TOTAL payment upfront before we begin working. If you need additional time, you must pay upfront before we can continue. Please have additional cash in case you may need additional time. We will not be able to wait for you to go to the bank and come back if want to extend the time. We have to have payment before we continue, otherwise we will have to leave and the job will be incomplete. To avoid this, please have extra cash in case you may need it.
ezClick System for Scheduling & Payment: Once you're in our system (Contact information, payment information, etc.), you can literally call, text, email, Facebook, etc. to request your appointment and once we complete the service we would charge the card on file and email you the invoice. If there is no other method of payment, we will charge the card on file for any service the first time or any time thereafter. You are giving us full authority to charge your card we have on file for our service each time we perform a service.
We have a No Refund policy: Under no circumstances will we provide a refund. Some credits may be transferable if you meet the requirements, call for details.
We encourage clients to book online: It's simple, you pick the date and time and we will confirm if the date and time you requested is available. you also have the option to pay online during the booking process. You may need to pay a non-refundable $50 deposit to reserve the date of your appointment once we confirm it is available. You can also call, email, text, etc. our office to schedule your appointment.
Please note your cleaning dates in advance as a reminder: We have sophisticated software but we do not commit to remind you of your appointment obligation. It is your responsibility to remind yourself concerning your appointment. We are unable to provide reminder calls, texts, emails, regularly. We may call you (email, text, etc.) as a courtesy, but we are not committed to making calls, texts, emails, etc. If you prefer not to provide a key, please ensure we will have access to your home on the day of your scheduled cleaning to avoid a lock-out fee.
No-Shows. Once we arrive we will wait up to 5 minutes, if the client is not at the property: If the client does not show up or we are unable to communicate with the client during the 5 minute time frame, we will leave and a $50 no-show fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
Hourly Rate starts running upon our arrival: If we have to wait for you, our rates are in effect the minute we arrive.
Rescheduling: should reschedule a maintenance clean as opposed to cancelling a particular clean. This avoids the at or more than 4 weeks between cleanings which would require and hourly-paid clean. There is no obligation for a minimum number of cleans
Monthly customers (every 4 weeks) or Longer Time Periods between cleanings Will be treated as the Initial Hourly Rate Cleaning: If there is a gap between your cleanings of 4 weeks or longer, your rate will be an hourly-paid clean. You should reschedule a maintenance clean as opposed to cancelling a particular clean. This avoids more than 4 weeks between cleanings which would require and hourly-paid clean. There is no obligation for a minimum number of cleans.
Rescheduling a clean will not affect the date of a subsequent clean: which will remain in its regularly scheduled spot and will not be shifted unless requested and there’s availability. This insures that you keep your spot on your assigned team and day. Please take note of this when rescheduling any clean.
We can't promise a team's arrival time but offer six time frames:
Early : arrival between 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., 10:00am–12:00pm or 11:00am–1:00pm or Late : arrival between 12pm–2:00pm, 1pm–3:00pm, or 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. We do our best to accommodate customer preferences. Unfortunately, due to things beyond our control, such as cancellations, illness or traffic, we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time.
Six Timeframes:
#1 Very Early : arrival between 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. (or 9 a.m. – 11a.m.)
#2 Early : arrival between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
#3 Late Morning: arrival between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
#4 Early afternoon: arrival between12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
#5 Late : arrival between 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. (or 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
#6 Very Late : arrival between 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Our Last Regular Business Hours Appointment is at 3 p.m. (anything after 3 p.m. may carry a higher rate)
Urgent requests will have to settle for the teams in their area: For Same Day Service or Last minute services (7 days or fewer) you will have to settle for the number of techs and corresponding same day service rate ($49.99) per hour per cleaning consultant, that are assigned to your zip code that day.
We determine how many techs and how long the job should take (but the final charge will be based on actual not our estimate): We determine this based on job characteristics (type of service, square footage of property, property condition, preferred appointment date and time, necessary supplies and equipment, etc.).
You may not get the number of technicians for the number of hours combination you requested, but you will always get the equivalent combination (number of techs and number of labor hours):
We do our best to accommodate customer requests and preferences. Unfortunately, due to things beyond our control, such as cancellations, illness or traffic, we cannot guarantee the number of our technicians that were initially assigned to your residence, but you will always receive the total number of labor hours you are paying for.
Example: You are paying for 2 techs for 2 hours (regular house cleaning) for 150+7% Supplies and Equipment Fee for a total of 4 labor hours. You may get the equivalent. 4 techs for 1 hour (total 4 labor hours) or 3 techs for 1 hour and 20 minutes (total 4 labor hours). You may get any combination of techs and hours to amount to the total that you are paying for. This could apply to any appointment at any particular time, but this is particular true and more often in late appointments because we have to have more techs to finish the job at a reasonable time. Jobs at or after 3 p.m. may have to expect this because the end of the day is close and if we go over the regular business hours (M-F 8-5), we would have to charge a higher rate.
Higher rates for weekends, nights, holidays, non-business hours, same day service, urgent service calls, emergency calls, bio cleans, non-traditional cleans, etc.: Normal business hours are M-F 8-5. Outside of business hours, the rates are higher. If we start a job during business hours and it goes over the 5 p.m. business hour mark, the rate for the service after 5 p.m. will be higher.
If you cannot be at the property we're cleaning, you are responsible for the total charge of the service (and you forego the 24-hour Guarantee): Your card will be charged for the total number of cleaning consultants and the total number of hours worked. You are giving us full permission to charge your credit card the total amount of hours worked, regardless of whether you agree or disagree concerning the hours worked and any additional applicable fees we informed you that the service consumed. You will be charged the total bill or the amount you specified (regardless whether you agree or disagree that we actually worked the number of labor hours specified).
Call the Jacksonville office directly with any schedule changes or concerns: To ensure the proper recording of your requests don’t rely on your team to relay important details to the office. If you have schedule or billing concerns or if there is anything we can do to better serve you, please call our office anytime at 904.716.0112.
Please provide three business days’ notice to reschedule or cancel any clean to avoid cancellation fees. (One week notice during Holiday Season): Advanced notice enables us to schedule other customers into your temporarily vacated spot and ensures our employees have a full schedule. We do not charge for the price of the whole clean, just a small fee as follows:
$50 Late Cancellation Fees: Please provide at least 3 business days’ notice to reschedule/cancel a first time, maintenance clean or any service to avoid a $50 fee.
$50 No-Show/Lockout Fees: If you elect not to give us a key, and we can’t access your home when we arrive, or you cancel your service once the team is dispatched for the day, there is a $50 lock-out fee. Giving us a key can avoid many last minute emergencies.
No Refund Policy: A $50 Non-Refundable Deposit is required to reserve the date of any service appointment: The deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is transferable to a rescheduled service as long as you cancel up to 3 business days before the reserved date. (5 Business days during the Holidays Nov-Dec, and other holidays). Rescheduling or cancelling with less notice thereby forfeits your deposit, rescheduling requires a new deposit.
A $50 Deposit is required to reserve the date of any service: The deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is transferable to a rescheduled service as long as you cancel up to 3 business days before the reserved date. (5 Business days during the Holidays Nov-Dec, and other holidays). Rescheduling or cancelling with less notice thereby forfeits your deposit, rescheduling requires a new deposit.
A $50 Cancellation Fee & Refusal of Service for Bug/Pest infestation or safety hazards: If you fail to mention Bug/Pest infestation or safety hazards are present at your property, a $50 fee will be charged to the credit card on file and we will refuse the job. We can’t service a home with Bug/Pest infestation or safety hazards.
A $50 Cancellation Fee & Refusal of Service for Inadequate Working Environment: Failing to Mention that your property does not have electric , running water, and AC will incur a Cancellation fee of $50. You Must Provide a safe and comfortable working environment. If you cannot provide a "normal" environment (as previously described), don't waste our or your time.
A $50 Cancellation Fee & Refusal of Service for Extremely Inadequate Working Environment: Upon visual inspection (if the place is not fit as an acceptable working environment (defined by us)), we reserve the right to refuse any job and you may be charged a $50 Cancellation Fee.
Last minute service requests require a $50 Non-Refundable Deposit to reserve the date of any service appointment: In many instances we may require a cash payment for same day services. Cash has to be provided before the service started.
No Credit Card On file: If no credit card information is provided and customer wants to pay with cash: Cash will be collected before the work is started. Be ready with exact amount (consultants do not have change) because we will collect cash before we begin working. No work will be performed unless cash is provided first.
Duplicate payments and/or reversed charges (refund) from a credit or debit card will carry a fee of $15.00 if we are not at fault. It is your responsibility to pay for the services and if there is no other payment method set in place, we will charge the card on file (having to reverse this charge will carry a $15 fee, if we are not at fault).
FREE ESTIMATES: Will not be scheduled earlier than seven business days in advance. We will schedule the appointment for the day and time that we are going to be in your zip code. We will set the day and time (may give you a few options). If our set days and times will not work for you, then you have to schedule a $50 non-refundable paid appointment. The $50 will be applied to your first service, if you decide to hire our services. The appointment will not be scheduled unless we have charged a $50 non-refundable fee at time of booking.
URGENT/PAID ESTIMATES: If you need the estimate urgently (7 business days or fewer) or at a day/time that are not convenient for us (examples: after 5 p.m., weekends, etc.), there is a $50 non-refundable fee. The $50 will be applied to your first service, if you decide to hire our services. The fee is charged at the time of booking the appointment. The appointment will not be scheduled unless we have charged a $50 non-refundable fee.

V. ACCESSIBILITY
Security Office Clearance to Enter Gated Communities, Alarm Codes, Gate Codes, Black Boxes Codes, etc.: If you live in a gated community, you must inform the security office to allow us to enter the premises. Otherwise, a $50 Lockout Fee will be charged to the credit card on file. The same applies to Alarm codes, gate codes, black boxes codes, remote mobile security systems, etc. You are responsible for our accessibility of your property upon our arrival.
Key Service: Providing us with a key will ensure uninterrupted service, save valuable time and avoid lockout fees. Keys are assigned a security number and kept in our key lockbox in our office. It is signed in and out by management on the day of your clean.
VI. ACCIDENTS & TRASH
True Accidents: We treat your home with great care, but accidents sometimes happen. Should any damage occur please contact the Jacksonville office within 24 hours of the cleaning date. We cannot be responsible for damage resulting from cleaning products or equipment supplied by customers, faulty or worn items or blinds, or items improperly installed. You are responsible to put up and remove any "valuables" to avoid damage and reduce exposure. We prefer the staff not to handle antiques, heirlooms, crystal, collectable, delicate or expensive decorations, works of art, or any other rare or unique item. If any such items are in your home, please be sure they are noted on the estimate sheet so we will not clean or disturb them. We cannot be held responsible for any such item unless the customer has asked us not to touch it and it is damaged by accident.
Trashing items: If you cannot be present during the cleaning process and items appear to be trash, things that appear as trash will be disposed of. We are not responsible for items that appear to be trash and get dispose of. As you should already know, it is your responsibility to put away anything of value.
Trash policy: Our cleaning techs are not responsible for removing the trash from your home. We do have a hauling department, if you want us to use our large tucks for hauling trash and furniture. you would have to contact our Jacksonville office to set up an appointment with that department.
VII. CONSULTANTS REFERRAL
$2,200 Referral Fees: Hiring and training trustworthy, reliable consultants is a costly endeavor. Our staff signs a legally binding non-compete, non-interference agreement. Should you choose Jessie's to clean your home, you agree not to hire a current or former staff member for home-related services. In the event that you would like to hire a current or former staff member outside of your agreement with Jessie's House & Carpet Cleaning, our referral fee is $2,200.
Violation of this policy may lead to additional legal and other justifiable fees for the process.
Our cleaning consultants are trained to inform management of any offers they may receive from customers to hire them directly. In such case, once we confirm the violation from the customer, we will not service that customer’s home again.
VIII. PAYMENTS & TIPS
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING: We require all customers to provide credit/debit card information at time of booking (in some cases a $50 non-refundable deposit is required and is charged during booking/soon all appointments will require a $50 non-refundable fee and could be charged the day of the booking or the morning of the service). If you do not provide credit/debit card information at time of booking, your appointment may be cancelled without notification at any time. It is in your best interest to provide the required credit/debit card information to avoid cancellation. The only exceptions to this policy would be prepayments (Pre-Payments such as: Gift Certificates, PayPal pre-payments, etc.). Your card will be charged on the day of the service (could be before during or after the service).
CHECKS: New clients may not have the option to pay with checks (we make that determination). We have not established a relationship and no trust has been developed. Therefore, many factors are used to make this determination.
CASH PAYMENTS: In some cases we may accept cash payments (we determine this decision). If you’re approved for cash payment, we require TOTAL payment upfront before we begin working. Once we complete the time you paid for and if additional time is necessary, you must pay upfront before we can continue. Please have additional cash in case we may need additional time. We will not be able to wait for you to go to the bank (or anywhere) and come back if want to extend the time. We have to have payment before we continue, otherwise we will have to leave and the job will be incomplete. To avoid this, please have extra cash in case you may need it.

Normally, we put, on your credit card, an estimated charge in the morning of the scheduled cleaning (you'll receive an email immediately): Keep in mind, this is just estimation, the total charge may be higher. We may add charges if the job turns out to take longer than anticipated. This is why we encourage customers to be present to witness the entire cleaning process (There is less misunderstanding that way). We require customers to be present in order for us to honor our 24-hour guarantee.
Our cleaning consultants will visually evaluate the property upon arrival and make any adjustments in time and price necessary to complete the job. We try to be 100% accurate but sometimes we may miss the mark. However, the amount reported to you after the visual inspection will be the total or close to the total. We may come back and say we miscalculated and may need an additional hour or so. (If you are present you can witness the work and there is less misunderstanding concerning necessary additional time). However, if the consultants tell you a certain amount but do not want to pay such amount (you rather pay a lesser amount), this will be a partial cleaning and will not enough to complete the job. You are fully informed that if you do not pay what the consultants are quoting you, you will not get a total cleaning, only a partial.
Payment is due immediately at the time of service: We accept MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, PayPal, cash or checks. One-time, first time cleanings require a credit card on file, and move-out cleans must be paid by credit card or pre-paid with cash. When provided by the customer, credit card numbers are stored in a secure file to use in the event you forget to leave your payment on the scheduled cleaning day. If you have provided us with a credit card, your account will be charged the balance due, plus any additional applicable fees, after each cleaning. A fee not to exceed $50 is applied to all returned checks and each time the check does not clear, or for rejected credit cards (insufficient funds). Late fees will accrue on balances.
Note: (Above certain amounts ($400), Same Day Service, Short Notice Service, Holidays Season Service, may require a cash payment). We offer many payment methods but WE decide which method we want to use in any particular situation.
If you cannot be at the property during the entire cleaning (you forego the 24-hour Guarantee), you may need to pre-pay for services before we arrive.
Once you make a payment using your credit card, secured servers will save your information for a period of time. That way next time you may want to pay with the same credit card, you will not have to provide the information all over again (see our ezClick System to learn more).
Tipping: As with many service professionals, tipping is greatly appreciated. A gratuity or a pleasant note is a great way to tell the team you appreciate their hard work. You can tip the cleaning consultants directly, include it in the check or credit card payment.
Cancellation Fee For Short Notice Services: If you schedule a last minute service during the three business day time window and you cancel the service, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
If you use a credit card that does not belong to you (spouse, significant other, relative, friend, etc.) and you are not authorized to use it, we will report the incident to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
If one person makes the appointment and provides all the relevant information for the service, we will deal with ONLY that ONE person (not spouses, significant others, relatives, friends, etc.). We will not deal with another person whom may not agree with the service quality, price, schedule, cleaning supplies, equipment, etc. We will only deal with the person who made the appointment.
IX. GUARANTEE
Jessie's House & Carpet Cleaning Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with any area your Jessie's House & Carpet Cleaning team has cleaned, let us know within 24 hours of the service. We will re-clean the area at no additional charge. However, in order for us to honor the guarantee you must be present during the entire cleaning process. We REQUIRE YOU (OR YOUR REPRESENTATIVE) TO BE PRESENT DURING THE ENTIRE CLEANING PROCESS in order for us to honor the 24-Hour Guarantee. If you cannot be present during the cleaning process, you forego the guarantee and we will not honor our 24-Hour Guarantee.
If you cannot be present for the ENTIRE cleaning process (not just partial), you are still responsible for the full amount of the cleaning service cost that we inform you (whether you agree or disagree).
X. LIST OF THINGS WE WILL NOT DO
We will not cleanup after your pet, pet waste, etc.
If we determine a place has extremely unsafe (or unacceptable) conditions (defined by us) and/or has not been kept for an extensive period of time, we will not perform the cleaning service (and you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee).
Three necessary elements. No electric, no running water, no AC, no service.
If you fail to mention that your place does not have each of the required elements (electric, water, AC), you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee and we will not perform the cleaning service.
The house cleaning department will not do anything outside the house (defined by us).
The house cleaning department will not use high ladders (defined by us).
The house cleaning department will not lift, move, push, pull, or slide heavy furniture, appliances, etc. (defined by us).

You are giving JHC full authorization to conduct these activities. Also, many clients approve for us to record videos/photos testimonials to express their satisfaction. These photos, videos, or any other existing or future technology not mentioned here recorded anywhere, including but not limited to your property, are the sole property of JHC.

The undersigned enters into the following agreement (“Agreement”) with
Jessie’s House Cleaning®. I have been informed that Jessie’s House Cleaning® is capturing footage and that my property, name, likeness, image, voice, appearance and/or performance is being recorded and made part of the recording in which I (or my property) appear (“Product”).
1. I grant Jessie’s House Cleaning® and its designees the right to use the Product in any format, now known or later developed. I grant, without limitation, the right to edit, mix or duplicate and use or re-use Product in whole or in parts as Jessie’s House Cleaning® may elect. Jessie’s House Cleaning® or its designees have complete ownership of the Product, including copyright interests.
2. I grant Jessie’s House Cleaning® and its designees the right to broadcast, exhibit, market and otherwise distribute the Product, in whole or in parts, and alone or with other products, for any purpose Jessie’s House Cleaning® or its designees determine. This grant includes the right to use Product for promoting or publicizing.
3. I have the right to enter into Agreement and am not restricted by commitments to third parties.
4. Jessie’s House Cleaning® has no financial commitment or obligations to me as a result of Agreement. I agree (and/or my property) to be videotaped and/or photographed for this product by Jessie’s House Cleaning® without receiving compensation of any kind.
5. In consideration of all the above, I hereby acknowledge receipt of reasonable and fair consideration from Jessie’s House Cleaning®. I have read, understand and agree to all of the above and that the rights granted Jessie’s House Cleaning® herein are perpetual and worldwide.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
(Between customers and Jessie's) Phone conversations, emails, texts, social media comments, photos, videos, and any other type of communication not mentioned here may be recorded for quality control, feedback, and marketing purposes.
II. HOME PREPARATION
Preparation Of Your Home: To maximize the value you receive from our service it is helpful to straighten-up and pick-up or put away clothing, toys, dishes, etc., before your cleaning team arrives.
Pets: You are responsible for placing your pets in areas where there is no interference with our techs.
Family & kids: To maximize the value you receive from our service it is helpful to plan on scheduling the service when family & kids are not home before your cleaning team arrives. As continual traffic may interfere with the cleaning process.
Avoid scheduling the service while there is construction, remodeling, or traffic in home while we’re cleaning: As we may clean your place only to have someone else dirty the place right afterward. In such cases, EVEN IF THE PLACE IS NOT CLEAN BECAUSE OF WORK BEING PERFORMED AT YOUR PROPERTY, we still have to charge for our services regardless of the outcome. And, in such cases we will not re-clean an area that was already cleaned and was made dirty from some other reason (kids, construction, remodeling, pets, etc.). We will be glad to re-clean it for the applicable hourly fees.

HOME CLEANING
We offer hourly--paid cleans, and regularly scheduled maintenance cleans for a flat fee: Maintenance cleans will be placed in a regularly scheduled spot (weekly and biweekly) on a team whose route is in your vicinity on a day and time of your preference (when we are scheduled to be in your area). The more frequent the service each month, the less time it requires to clean per visit. We honor the flat fee of a maintenance clean provided that cleaning is done at the agreed upon frequency. If the frequency changes (due to illnesses, vacations, forgetfulness, accidents, natural catastrophes, weather, or any other reason not mentioned here), the price will also increase.
Anything outside of the home is not included in the home cleaning.
In order to get the best rates, you have to sign a one year contract. Contact us for more details.
CARPET CLEANING
Powerful carpet steam cleaning takes care of most carpet cleaning jobs. However, when tough stains and odors are present, many factors will determine the outcome.
Depending on the nature of the stains and odors will determine if the stains and odors will be removed. We cannot guarantee that your stains and odors will be removed.
Carpet cleaning is performed using powerful steam cleaning with tough chemicals to remove stains. However, we cannot guarantee that your stains will be permanently removed. Some stains are permanent (pet urine, hair dye, etc.). Carpet cleaning in this situation would superficially provide a temporary solution, but when the carpet is completely dried, the stains or bad odors will come back. Therefore, we cannot guarantee permanent removal of stains or odors.
Also, sometimes the liquid (pet urine, water, or anything else) penetrates the carpet and gets to the bottom padding area creating a very strong unpleasant odor. Carpet cleaning and deodorizing will not remove the tough odor in this situation, it may superficially provide a temporary solution. The padding would have to be removed and dried or replaced, which is another (more costly) service.
IV. SCHEDULING & FEES
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING: We require all customers to provide credit/debit card information at time of booking (in some cases a $50 a non-refundable deposit is required). If you do not provide credit/debit card information at time of booking, your appointment may be cancelled without notification at any time. It is in your best interest to provide the required credit/debit card information to avoid cancellation. The only exceptions to this policy would be prepayments (Pre-Payments such as: Gift Certificates, PayPal pre-payments, etc.).
CASH: If you’re paying with cash, we require TOTAL payment upfront before we begin working. If you need additional time, you must pay upfront before we can continue. Please have additional cash in case you may need additional time. We will not be able to wait for you to go to the bank and come back if want to extend the time. We have to have payment before we continue, otherwise we will have to leave and the job will be incomplete. To avoid this, please have extra cash in case you may need it.
ezClick System for Scheduling & Payment: Once you're in our system (Contact information, payment information, etc.), you can literally call, text, email, Facebook, etc. to request your appointment and once we complete the service we would charge the card on file and email you the invoice. If there is no other method of payment, we will charge the card on file for any service the first time or any time thereafter. You are giving us full authority to charge your card we have on file for our service each time we perform a service.
We have a No Refund policy: Under no circumstances will we provide a refund. Some credits may be transferable if you meet the requirements, call for details.
We encourage clients to book online: It's simple, you pick the date and time and we will confirm if the date and time you requested is available. you also have the option to pay online during the booking process. You may need to pay a non-refundable $50 deposit to reserve the date of your appointment once we confirm it is available. You can also call, email, text, etc. our office to schedule your appointment.
Please note your cleaning dates in advance as a reminder: We have sophisticated software but we do not commit to remind you of your appointment obligation. It is your responsibility to remind yourself concerning your appointment. We are unable to provide reminder calls, texts, emails, regularly. We may call you (email, text, etc.) as a courtesy, but we are not committed to making calls, texts, emails, etc. If you prefer not to provide a key, please ensure we will have access to your home on the day of your scheduled cleaning to avoid a lock-out fee.
No-Shows. Once we arrive we will wait up to 5 minutes, if the client is not at the property: If the client does not show up or we are unable to communicate with the client during the 5 minute time frame, we will leave and a $50 no-show fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
Hourly Rate starts running upon our arrival: If we have to wait for you, our rates are in effect the minute we arrive.
Rescheduling: should reschedule a maintenance clean as opposed to cancelling a particular clean. This avoids the at or more than 4 weeks between cleanings which would require and hourly-paid clean. There is no obligation for a minimum number of cleans
Monthly customers (every 4 weeks) or Longer Time Periods between cleanings Will be treated as the Initial Hourly Rate Cleaning: If there is a gap between your cleanings of 4 weeks or longer, your rate will be an hourly-paid clean. You should reschedule a maintenance clean as opposed to cancelling a particular clean. This avoids more than 4 weeks between cleanings which would require and hourly-paid clean. There is no obligation for a minimum number of cleans.
Rescheduling a clean will not affect the date of a subsequent clean: which will remain in its regularly scheduled spot and will not be shifted unless requested and there’s availability. This insures that you keep your spot on your assigned team and day. Please take note of this when rescheduling any clean.
We can't promise a team's arrival time but offer six time frames:
Early : arrival between 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., 10:00am–12:00pm or 11:00am–1:00pm or Late : arrival between 12pm–2:00pm, 1pm–3:00pm, or 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. We do our best to accommodate customer preferences. Unfortunately, due to things beyond our control, such as cancellations, illness or traffic, we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time.
Six Timeframes:
#1 Very Early : arrival between 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. (or 9 a.m. – 11a.m.)
#2 Early : arrival between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
#3 Late Morning: arrival between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
#4 Early afternoon: arrival between12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
#5 Late : arrival between 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. (or 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
#6 Very Late : arrival between 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Our Last Regular Business Hours Appointment is at 3 p.m. (anything after 3 p.m. may carry a higher rate)
Urgent requests will have to settle for the teams in their area: For Same Day Service or Last minute services (7 days or fewer) you will have to settle for the number of techs and corresponding same day service rate ($49.99) per hour per cleaning consultant, that are assigned to your zip code that day.
We determine how many techs and how long the job should take (but the final charge will be based on actual not our estimate): We determine this based on job characteristics (type of service, square footage of property, property condition, preferred appointment date and time, necessary supplies and equipment, etc.).
You may not get the number of technicians for the number of hours combination you requested, but you will always get the equivalent combination (number of techs and number of labor hours):
We do our best to accommodate customer requests and preferences. Unfortunately, due to things beyond our control, such as cancellations, illness or traffic, we cannot guarantee the number of our technicians that were initially assigned to your residence, but you will always receive the total number of labor hours you are paying for.
Example: You are paying for 2 techs for 2 hours (regular house cleaning) for 150+7% Supplies and Equipment Fee for a total of 4 labor hours. You may get the equivalent. 4 techs for 1 hour (total 4 labor hours) or 3 techs for 1 hour and 20 minutes (total 4 labor hours). You may get any combination of techs and hours to amount to the total that you are paying for. This could apply to any appointment at any particular time, but this is particular true and more often in late appointments because we have to have more techs to finish the job at a reasonable time. Jobs at or after 3 p.m. may have to expect this because the end of the day is close and if we go over the regular business hours (M-F 8-5), we would have to charge a higher rate.
Higher rates for weekends, nights, holidays, non-business hours, same day service, urgent service calls, emergency calls, bio cleans, non-traditional cleans, etc.: Normal business hours are M-F 8-5. Outside of business hours, the rates are higher. If we start a job during business hours and it goes over the 5 p.m. business hour mark, the rate for the service after 5 p.m. will be higher.
If you cannot be at the property we're cleaning, you are responsible for the total charge of the service (and you forego the 24-hour Guarantee): Your card will be charged for the total number of cleaning consultants and the total number of hours worked. You are giving us full permission to charge your credit card the total amount of hours worked, regardless of whether you agree or disagree concerning the hours worked and any additional applicable fees we informed you that the service consumed. You will be charged the total bill or the amount you specified (regardless whether you agree or disagree that we actually worked the number of labor hours specified).
Call the Jacksonville office directly with any schedule changes or concerns: To ensure the proper recording of your requests don’t rely on your team to relay important details to the office. If you have schedule or billing concerns or if there is anything we can do to better serve you, please call our office anytime at 904.716.0112.
Please provide three business days’ notice to reschedule or cancel any clean to avoid cancellation fees. (One week notice during Holiday Season): Advanced notice enables us to schedule other customers into your temporarily vacated spot and ensures our employees have a full schedule. We do not charge for the price of the whole clean, just a small fee as follows:
$50 Late Cancellation Fees: Please provide at least 3 business days’ notice to reschedule/cancel a first time, maintenance clean or any service to avoid a $50 fee.
$50 No-Show/Lockout Fees: If you elect not to give us a key, and we can’t access your home when we arrive, or you cancel your service once the team is dispatched for the day, there is a $50 lock-out fee. Giving us a key can avoid many last minute emergencies.
No Refund Policy: A $50 Non-Refundable Deposit is required to reserve the date of any service appointment: The deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is transferable to a rescheduled service as long as you cancel up to 3 business days before the reserved date. (5 Business days during the Holidays Nov-Dec, and other holidays). Rescheduling or cancelling with less notice thereby forfeits your deposit, rescheduling requires a new deposit.

A $50 Cancellation Fee & Refusal of Service for Bug/Pest infestation or safety hazards: If you fail to mention Bug/Pest infestation or safety hazards are present at your property, a $50 fee will be charged to the credit card on file and we will refuse the job. We can’t service a home with Bug/Pest infestation or safety hazards.
A $50 Cancellation Fee & Refusal of Service for Inadequate Working Environment: Failing to Mention that your property does not have electric , running water, and AC will incur a Cancellation fee of $50. You Must Provide a safe and comfortable working environment. If you cannot provide a "normal" environment (as previously described), don't waste our or your time.
A $50 Cancellation Fee & Refusal of Service for Extremely Inadequate Working Environment: Upon visual inspection (if the place is not fit as an acceptable working environment (defined by us)), we reserve the right to refuse any job and you may be charged a $50 Cancellation Fee.
Last minute service requests require a $50 Non-Refundable Deposit to reserve the date of any service appointment: In many instances we may require a cash payment for same day services. Cash has to be provided before the service started.
No Credit Card On file: If no credit card information is provided and customer wants to pay with cash: Cash will be collected before the work is started. Be ready with exact amount (consultants do not have change) because we will collect cash before we begin working. No work will be performed unless cash is provided first.
Duplicate payments and/or reversed charges (refund) from a credit or debit card will carry a fee of $15.00 if we are not at fault. It is your responsibility to pay for the services and if there is no other payment method set in place, we will charge the card on file (having to reverse this charge will carry a $15 fee, if we are not at fault).
FREE ESTIMATES: Will not be scheduled earlier than seven business days in advance. We will schedule the appointment for the day and time that we are going to be in your zip code. We will set the day and time (may give you a few options). If our set days and times will not work for you, then you have to schedule a $50 non-refundable paid appointment. The $50 will be applied to your first service, if you decide to hire our services. The appointment will not be scheduled unless we have charged a $50 non-refundable fee at time of booking.
URGENT/PAID ESTIMATES: If you need the estimate urgently (7 business days or fewer) or at a day/time that are not convenient for us (examples: after 5 p.m., weekends, etc.), there is a $50 non-refundable fee. The $50 will be applied to your first service, if you decide to hire our services. The fee is charged at the time of booking the appointment. The appointment will not be scheduled unless we have charged a $50 non-refundable fee.
$50 THREE BUSINESS DAY RULE FOR CANCELLATIONS: If you schedule the appointment within the 3 business days period and you cancel at any time, you will automatically lose the $50 deposit (cannot be transferred because you are unable to give us the required three business days notification) and would need to pay another $50 for a new appointment.
V. ACCESSIBILITY
Security Office Clearance to Enter Gated Communities, Alarm Codes, Gate Codes, Black Boxes Codes, etc.: If you live in a gated community, you must inform the security office to allow us to enter the premises. Otherwise, a $50 Lockout Fee will be charged to the credit card on file. The same applies to Alarm codes, gate codes, black boxes codes, remote mobile security systems, etc. You are responsible for our accessibility of your property upon our arrival.
Key Service: Providing us with a key will ensure uninterrupted service, save valuable time and avoid lockout fees. Keys are assigned a security number and kept in our key lockbox in our office. It is signed in and out by management on the day of your clean.
VI. ACCIDENTS & TRASH
True Accidents: We treat your home with great care, but accidents sometimes happen. Should any damage occur please contact the Jacksonville office within 24 hours of the cleaning date. We cannot be responsible for damage resulting from cleaning products or equipment supplied by customers, faulty or worn items or blinds, or items improperly installed. You are responsible to put up and remove any "valuables" to avoid damage and reduce exposure. We prefer the staff not to handle antiques, heirlooms, crystal, collectable, delicate or expensive decorations, works of art, or any other rare or unique item. If any such items are in your home, please be sure they are noted on the estimate sheet so we will not clean or disturb them. We cannot be held responsible for any such item unless the customer has asked us not to touch it and it is damaged by accident.
Trashing items: If you cannot be present during the cleaning process and items appear to be trash, things that appear as trash will be disposed of. We are not responsible for items that appear to be trash and get dispose of. As you should already know, it is your responsibility to put away anything of value.
Trash policy: Our cleaning techs are not responsible for removing the trash from your home. We do have a hauling department, if you want us to use our large tucks for hauling trash and furniture. you would have to contact our Jacksonville office to set up an appointment with that department.
VII. CONSULTANTS REFERRAL
$2,200 Referral Fees: Hiring and training trustworthy, reliable consultants is a costly endeavor. Our staff signs a legally binding non-compete, non-interference agreement. Should you choose Jessie's to clean your home, you agree not to hire a current or former staff member for home-related services. In the event that you would like to hire a current or former staff member outside of your agreement with Jessie's House & Carpet Cleaning, our referral fee is $2,200.
Violation of this policy may lead to additional legal and other justifiable fees for the process.
Our cleaning consultants are trained to inform management of any offers they may receive from customers to hire them directly. In such case, once we confirm the violation from the customer, we will not service that customer’s home again.
VIII. PAYMENTS & TIPS
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING: We require all customers to provide credit/debit card information at time of booking (in some cases a $50 non-refundable deposit is required and is charged during booking/soon all appointments will require a $50 non-refundable fee and could be charged the day of the booking or the morning of the service). If you do not provide credit/debit card information at time of booking, your appointment may be cancelled without notification at any time. It is in your best interest to provide the required credit/debit card information to avoid cancellation. The only exceptions to this policy would be prepayments (Pre-Payments such as: Gift Certificates, PayPal pre-payments, etc.). Your card will be charged on the day of the service (could be before during or after the service).
CHECKS: New clients may not have the option to pay with checks (we make that determination). We have not established a relationship and no trust has been developed. Therefore, many factors are used to make this determination.
CASH PAYMENTS: In some cases we may accept cash payments (we determine this decision). If you’re approved for cash payment, we require TOTAL payment upfront before we begin working. Once we complete the time you paid for and if additional time is necessary, you must pay upfront before we can continue. Please have additional cash in case we may need additional time. We will not be able to wait for you to go to the bank (or anywhere) and come back if want to extend the time. We have to have payment before we continue, otherwise we will have to leave and the job will be incomplete. To avoid this, please have extra cash in case you may need it.

Normally, we put, on your credit card, an estimated charge in the morning of the scheduled cleaning (you'll receive an email immediately): Keep in mind, this is just estimation, the total charge may be higher. We may add charges if the job turns out to take longer than anticipated. This is why we encourage customers to be present to witness the entire cleaning process (There is less misunderstanding that way). We require customers to be present in order for us to honor our 24-hour guarantee.
Our cleaning consultants will visually evaluate the property upon arrival and make any adjustments in time and price necessary to complete the job. We try to be 100% accurate but sometimes we may miss the mark. However, the amount reported to you after the visual inspection will be the total or close to the total. We may come back and say we miscalculated and may need an additional hour or so. (If you are present you can witness the work and there is less misunderstanding concerning necessary additional time). However, if the consultants tell you a certain amount but do not want to pay such amount (you rather pay a lesser amount), this will be a partial cleaning and will not enough to complete the job. You are fully informed that if you do not pay what the consultants are quoting you, you will not get a total cleaning, only a partial.
Payment is due immediately at the time of service: We accept MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, PayPal, cash or checks. One-time, first time cleanings require a credit card on file, and move-out cleans must be paid by credit card or pre-paid with cash. When provided by the customer, credit card numbers are stored in a secure file to use in the event you forget to leave your payment on the scheduled cleaning day. If you have provided us with a credit card, your account will be charged the balance due, plus any additional applicable fees, after each cleaning. A fee not to exceed $50 is applied to all returned checks and each time the check does not clear, or for rejected credit cards (insufficient funds). Late fees will accrue on balances.
Note: (Above certain amounts ($400), Same Day Service, Short Notice Service, Holidays Season Service, may require a cash payment). We offer many payment methods but WE decide which method we want to use in any particular situation.
If you cannot be at the property during the entire cleaning (you forego the 24-hour Guarantee), you may need to pre-pay for services before we arrive.
Once you make a payment using your credit card, secured servers will save your information for a period of time. That way next time you may want to pay with the same credit card, you will not have to provide the information all over again (see our ezClick System to learn more).
Tipping: As with many service professionals, tipping is greatly appreciated. A gratuity or a pleasant note is a great way to tell the team you appreciate their hard work. You can tip the cleaning consultants directly, include it in the check or credit card payment.
Cancellation Fee For Short Notice Services: If you schedule a last minute service during the three business day time window and you cancel the service, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
If you use a credit card that does not belong to you (spouse, significant other, relative, friend, etc.) and you are not authorized to use it, we will report the incident to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
If one person makes the appointment and provides all the relevant information for the service, we will deal with ONLY that ONE person (not spouses, significant others, relatives, friends, etc.). We will not deal with another person whom may not agree with the service quality, price, schedule, cleaning supplies, equipment, etc. We will only deal with the person who made the appointment.
IX. GUARANTEE
Jessie's House & Carpet Cleaning Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with any area your Jessie's House & Carpet Cleaning team has cleaned, let us know within 24 hours of the service. We will re-clean the area at no additional charge. However, in order for us to honor the guarantee you must be present during the entire cleaning process. We REQUIRE YOU (OR YOUR REPRESENTATIVE) TO BE PRESENT DURING THE ENTIRE CLEANING PROCESS in order for us to honor the 24-Hour Guarantee. If you cannot be present during the cleaning process, you forego the guarantee and we will not honor our 24-Hour Guarantee.
If you cannot be present for the ENTIRE cleaning process (not just partial), you are still responsible for the full amount of the cleaning service cost that we inform you (whether you agree or disagree).
X. LIST OF THINGS WE WILL NOT DO
We will not cleanup after your pet, pet waste, etc.
If we determine a place has extremely unsafe (or unacceptable) conditions (defined by us) and/or has not been kept for an extensive period of time, we will not perform the cleaning service (and you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee).
Three necessary elements. No electric, no running water, no AC, no service.
If you fail to mention that your place does not have each of the required elements (electric, water, AC), you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee and we will not perform the cleaning service.
The house cleaning department will not do anything outside the house (defined by us).
The house cleaning department will not use high ladders (defined by us).
The house cleaning department will not lift, move, push, pull, or slide heavy furniture, appliances, etc. (defined by us).
